The international final: how Ukraine and Poland ended up in one lobby
Studio, studio — this is not a regular final. Elite 8 put two countries into one lobby, and this is our first grand final where the title is contested not by eight squads from a single Discord, but by ten Ukrainian teams against six Polish ones.
Getting to these sixteen was a story of its own. Kinders withdrew after qualifying — their slot was split between Pokamolodi and 30ZH. Then 30ZH withdrew too, and the last seat went down the qualification queue: Fighting geese flew in sixteenth, hours before the start.
The schedule: six maps — Taego twice, Erangel twice, Rondo and Miramar for dessert. No brackets, no second run: the sum of points over six maps, and that is it. Fail three of them and you are not catching anyone, no matter how much you shoot. Keep that in mind, because that is exactly how the night ends.
19:04, first circle, sixteen squads in the field. Here we go.
"What we do in life echoes in eternity."
TAEGO — IKLA takes the first chicken of the night
The first circle decided to sit exactly where everyone was. Taego does not reward the careful, and Taego did not miss: first blood fell at second 70 — ccebek got XianHyun before half the lobby had finished looting.
IKLA simply made it to the end. Nine kills is not much, but when the rest of the lobby decides to brawl in the open, "not much" turns out to be enough.
And here is the funny part: the standings leader after map one is NOT IKLA. Evelines finished fifth and brought seventeen kills — Darcostt put down seven by himself. Twenty points against nineteen. One point. Already.
"If it bleeds, we can kill it."
TAEGO again — and Not So Serious Mri9 plays the loudest map
Same fields, same bushes, a completely different map. Not So Serious Mri9 decided that "not so serious" is about the name, not the play: thirteen kills and first place.
Eternity, meanwhile, does the thing it will do all night and that nobody will notice until the very end: it comes second. Not flashy. Not in the highlights. Just second.
D***, and CPN is warming up — seventh place and twelve kills. Somebody in that lobby still has not realised the Polish squad did not come to watch.
"Hasta la vista, baby."
ERANGEL — Evelines take it with six kills
Erangel. A classic. The place where people die of embarrassment rather than bullets.
Evelines won the map with six kills. SIX. That is not a firefight, that is accounting — and it works.
CPN are fourth with seventeen kills. Seventeen kills and fourth place is no longer a style, it is a diagnosis: 67miksuu walks the lobby like it is his own kitchen, and the final circle somehow happens without them again.
"It is not personal. It is strictly business."
ERANGEL — Unknown finally goes the distance
Before this map Unknown had two tenth places and eighteen kills. That means they shot better than everyone and died earlier than most — a rare combination, but BROGGUA can do it.
And here: ten kills, first place, ccebek dismantling the final circle like somebody is paying him extra for it.
Studio! This is the map after which the lobby was sure the podium belongs to whoever shoots. The next two maps will say that was false.
"Yeah, I am thinking I am back."
RONDO — Eternity take first place for the first and only time
Rondo is the map where everyone is cramped, which is why the ones who were merely surviving do not survive here.
Eternity finally win. A first chicken in five maps, ten kills — and this is the only moment all night when they were genuinely the best team on the map.
D***, but it works. Because while everyone else was collecting first places one at a time, Eternity was collecting fourths, seconds, eighths and sevenths — and in the standings that weighs more than looking good.
"I love it when a plan comes together."
MIRAMAR — Poland closes the night with a chicken
Drewno Gaming started this final SIXTEENTH. Last place, one kill, nothing. Then ninth, eleventh, fourth, fifth. And first.
Miramar, sand, the last circle — and an AUG in XXer9 hands puts the full stop straight into Ex1st7 of Eternity. Which means the final kill of the tournament was made by a Polish team, on the squad that had become champion five minutes earlier.
Studio, studio, I do not know whether this was scripted, but as an ending to the night it is flawless.
"It is not about how hard you hit. It is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward."
Six frames that stayed from this night
First blood of the tournament came at second 70 of the very first map, and ccebek made it. The same ccebek who, two hours later, would take the highest BRO MVP of the night. The man literally opened the tournament and closed it at the top of the player rating.
533 metres. Solovoin_ of Pokamolodi got AlebardistBenn on Rondo with a Kar98k. The longest shot of the final — and roughly the distance at which you can no longer see who you hit.
SECURITY_1vs4_TT of DARK_Nexus made 8 revives, the most in the lobby. A man with the nickname "1vs4" spent the whole night picking teammates up instead of proving the nickname. Respect.
Kl1ner of Eternity dealt 694 damage with GRENADES. Not with a rifle — with grenades. The champion had his own approach to tight circles, and it worked.
qRuasaN burned through 54 meds and bandages. Fifty-four. Not So Serious Mri9 took a chicken on map two, and now I know the price.
And the saddest one: zManianTTV of Stop Trihard was the first of his squad to go down three times tonight. Three. Studio, he had a rough evening.
"One shot, one kill."
Numbers of the final: 405 kills, an AUG monopoly, and records that held
Telemetry of the final: 405 deaths across six maps. Ten of them had no killer at all — the blue zone, an own grenade, a fall. So every fortieth death of the tournament had no author.
And the headline number: the AUG produced 104 kills out of 405 — a quarter of the entire final on one rifle. Then the M416 (38), the Mini 14 (37), and in fourth place a grenade with 31 kills. Grenades killed more people than the M249 and the Beryl combined.
This is not a one-night anomaly, and that is what makes it interesting: the AUG is the deadliest weapon in the whole history of our tournaments (928 kills). The lobby simply played the meta we already have.
Now about records — there were none. Measured against the entire BROGGUA history:
· distance: 533 m against the club record of 689 m held by KoshA_-. The same KoshA_- who played for Evelines tonight and took fourth place. More than that: 533 m is not even a personal best for Solovoin_, who has 648 m (second in our history).
· team kills on a single map: the best tonight was 17 (Evelines on Taego and CPN on Erangel) against a historical 29.
So the international final turned out to be not the loudest by the numbers, but the most even. Six maps — six different winners: that has never happened in any of our tournaments before.
"You do not solve the problem with emotion. You solve it with numbers."
Ukraine against Poland: what the numbers say, not the emotions
The overall score of the international final: Ukraine — 260 kills, Poland — 135. Chickens: five to one. On the face of it, not a contest.
Except Ukraine had ten squads and Poland six. Per team that is 26.0 against 22.5 kills. So the difference is not in level, it is in headcount.
And here is what Poland did with those six squads: second place (CPN, with the most kills in the entire lobby — 49), fifth (Drewno Gaming, who came from the bottom line and took the last map of the night), and the final shot of the tournament, into the champion.
At the same time two Polish squads finished at the very bottom with four kills across six maps. So this is not an "even country" — it is a country with a very sharp top and a very thin bottom. Tonight that top was close to unbreakable.
Studio, when those six squads become eight, I am not sure we will still be counting kills per team to look better.
"You are gonna need a bigger boat."

Congratulations to the winners. Eternity — champions of the international Elite 8. CPN — silver and the best gun of the night. Unknown — bronze, and ccebek is the tournament MVP with the highest BRO MVP of the evening. Drewno Gaming — the best run of the tournament, from the sixteenth line to fifth place and a chicken on the final map. Why Eternity won is visible in a single line. Their placements by map: 4 · 2 · 8 · 7 · 1 · 2. Not one collapse. CPN shot six kills more, but carry a 14th, an 11th and a 12th — three maps thrown into the sand. Unknown, with 48 kills, were in the top 8 twice out of six maps. In a format that pays 10 points for first place and one for a kill, the winner is not the team that shoots best, but the team that dies worst. Eternity won ONE map out of six and took everything, because they were the only squad that never dropped out of the top 8. The most boring strategy of the night turned out to be the only one that works. And the main hook for what comes next: the title stayed in Ukraine, but the most kills, and the final shot of the tournament, did not. The last person to pull a trigger in this final was XXer9 of Drewno Gaming, and he was shooting at the champion. If that is not a claim for a rematch, I do not know what is. Crazy Hot Chicken signing off… I have no idea how I am still alive, but it is interesting here.
