Venom Pact took
OCTOBER DUO BATTLE 2026
Three chicken dinners, 62 points — and Chicken's prediction scoreboard
BROZORATV
THIRTY-THREE DUOS, FIVE MAPS, 318 KILLS
There were 34 registrations, but 33 entered the lobby: TwoDan didn't show up. The rest played all five maps, and by the end of the evening, the question was no longer "who," but "by how much."
Venom Pact won 3 out of five maps and wrapped up the tournament with 62 points against 52 for Origins. Dushne Duo finished third with 30 — and they were the only ones my breakdown predicted correctly.
Duo is the most honest format: there's no one to hide behind and no one to pick you up a third time. Two against sixty-four. Everything that happened here stays on broggua.com forever.
ERANGEL — Venom Pact
Right on the first map, Venom Pact snatch a chicken dinner with 8 kills. That's how teams start when they either dominate the whole evening or burn out right away. This time, it was the former.
Origins, whom the breakdown placed first in the grid, finished 9th with 4 kills. Nothing disastrous, but nowhere near their projected rating.
"I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse."
TAEGO — EMICO
Taego was the only map of the evening without either of the two leaders on top. EMICO took the chicken dinner with just 4 kills: a classic quiet wipeout where everyone around kills each other, and you're just the last ones standing.
Venom Pact landed 16th here. Studio, studio — the evening's champion dumped a map into the middle of the table, and that's precisely what makes the rest of their night interesting.
Meanwhile, Origins came in 2nd — their best result up to that point.
"The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."
RONDO — Venom Pact
Rondo — and Venom Pact return to the top. A second chicken dinner, 7 kills, and the leaderboard starts looking settled.
Origins were 4th with 7 kills — they were holding on, but were already in chase mode.
"Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night."
MIRAMAR — Venom Pact
Miramar. A third chicken dinner for Venom Pact and **12 kills in a single map** — their bloodiest outing of the night. This is where the tournament practically ended: a 10-point lead isn't given away on one map.
f*** I've seen duos win two maps and crumble. These guys just kept rolling after the third.
"I love the smell of napalm in the morning."
ERANGEL — Origins
The final Erangel map — and Origins grab their chicken dinner (8 kills). A handsome finale for the team that spent the whole night in second place.
Venom Pact ended up 32nd here with 1 kill. And that's not a flop, but pure math: they had already sealed the title, so there was no reason to risk anything.
"After all, tomorrow is another day."
CONGRATULATIONS TO VENOM PACT
**Venom Pact** are the October Duo Battle 2026 champions. Kaizeen- and VIREX-, you stole the show: three chicken dinners out of five maps and a 10-point lead. Even the Taego crash into 16th didn't stop you — you just went out and won the next two back-to-back. Congratulations, well deserved.
**Origins** took second place and had the most consistent evening in the lobby: 9 → 2 → 4 → 4 → 1 across the maps with a chicken dinner in the final game. Ex1st7 and steyyy-, you were the only ones to finish on the rise, and your pair yielded the tournament MVP.
**Dushne Duo** take bronze and 30 points. AndyIG87 and did_Mykhailo, special respect: you were the only ones my breakdown predicted correctly and in the exact same spot. I underrated you by rank — you answered that on the leaderboard.
And thanks to all 33 duos who played all five maps through to the end. It was worth it even from 33rd place: every kill and every placement of yours now lives on broggua.com forever.
steyyy- IS MVP, AND HE ISN'T FROM THE CHAMPION TEAM
steyyy- grabbed the award with 91.57 on 16 kills and 2 198 damage. His team Origins placed second — that happens, because MVP measures not the team's placement, but what a player accomplished on the map.
Second was Kaizeen- (Venom Pact) with 90.87, and the gap between them was **less than a single point**. That said, Kaizeen- racked up the biggest stats of the night: 22 kills, 2 902 damage, 13 headshots. The award went to someone else — and this is one of those rare cases where you can't argue with the numbers, but they're definitely worth a double-take.
The single best map performance of the evening belonged to neither of them: PUSHON-_- ([GTU]) racked up 8 kills and 911 damage on Taego. And the longest shot was 454 meters, by Xx_FANAT_xX with a Mini 14. Hasta la vista.
WHAT I PROMISED — AND HOW IT TURNED OUT
I wrote that I would check my prediction even if I guessed zero right. I didn't hit zero, but there's not much to be proud of either.
I put Dushne Duo in 3rd — and they placed 3rd. Spot on. I put Origins 1st — they came in 2nd, so close enough. I put IKLA Old Dogs 2nd — they ended up 5th, which is just a miss.
But that's not the main thing. My breakdown placed the evening's champion **19th by index** — and in that very same text I wrote that Venom Pact was the most synced-up pair in the lobby, 10 matches together in two weeks. So the clue was right there in my own article, and I chased kills per map instead. F*** Index measures how much a player kills. It doesn't measure how many times these two have watched their partner go down.
The MVP situation was even funnier: I named the team right (Origins), but not the player. Ex1st7 came in 3rd, and the award was taken by his own teammate steyyy-. At least I got one thing right: I intentionally DID NOT pick porch1k despite the highest rating in the bracket — because that rating was based on 19 maps. He finished 33rd out of 66.
FINAL STANDINGS
62 points, 32 kills, and 3 chicken dinners. Won the first map, slumped to 16th on Taego, then took Rondo and Miramar back-to-back — leaving no further questions. Roster: Kaizeen- · VIREX-.
The most consistent evening in the lobby: 9 → 2 → 4 → 4 → 1 across maps and a chicken dinner in the last game. 52 points, 28 kills. This is the team that produced the tournament MVP. Roster: Ex1st7 · steyyy-.
30 points and 19 kills — the only podium team that the breakdown predicted correctly and in the exact same spot. Roster: AndyIG87 · did_Mykhailo.
Thanks to all 33 duos who showed up and played all five maps. Special thanks to Venom Pact for a night where they left no choice, and to steyyy- for an award he didn't give away even to the player with more kills. Full standings, individual stats for every player, and 2D replays of all five maps are available on the tournament page. The next BROGGUA tournament is free, just like this one. Crazy Hot Chicken signing off. Prediction checked as promised: one podium out of three and a champion I had down at 19th. Next time I'll listen to my own stats more carefully. 🐔
